What does the HAMB collective brain-field think of putting pitted chrome on my ride so I can drive it??? The local chrome shop (actually 70mi away) has a three-week backlog before they can even start my bumpers and grille. Not to mention the hood hinges, latch, bezels, and 27" shifter.

It's a black basecoat with purple metallic buried in 18% flat clear.

Pitted & rusty chrome looks better than painted bumpers, so does no bumpers!;)

wait the 3 weeks and get it done. If you dont do it now you wont do it until winter next year plus im sure you will find other things to do instead of the bumpers. there will be plenty of days to drive it after its all done.

I'd wait, otherwise you're going to have to go through the work of taking it off and waiting to get the chrome done in the future anyway. Three weeks is a fast turnaround.
