    He was thanking you, Bro.
That's why he split. Did he leave a silver bullet?

Nice pickup mr57, that is a Pontiac Safari after all isn't it? And they were all two door wagons I believe., like a Nomad.

  8. That Safari, 2, or 4 doors, is rare enough to deserve better than that mess all over it.

I really like good pinstriping, old wagons, fire trucks, chairoits , signs,an many other things long before it was ever hotrod stuff={no Van Dutch didn't invent or anyone on out west.] that was just for perpective.
I did a lot back in the 50s n early 60s,but being 75 now,I shake an that made me stop some years back. Loved how most times style by its self, often would give away who did it,with out looking for the little sig.
I also did name's on cars an airbrushed Wild"T"s under my art name back then"The Bat".
Some nice stuff shown so far!!

Dutch came up with the curved lines around the key holes because of grinder marks that pulled thru the paint and the customer was heading down to pick up his car

Some lines on my Model A, done by a local guy, Von Knobb. Have known Ian for years and enjoyed watching his talent grow and finally have a car that suits a few lines on it,

I’m going to say most look great but some ruin the look of ride or are over done instead of tasteful and spot on. Color matters also.

  21. You wouldn't say that if you saw that car in person. I think it was done as a tribute to past stripers. I saw it in person and it is a work of art to say the least JB

A664465C-5637-48CE-9DA5-12BAC52F9B28.jpeg Just had my buddy Neko stripe the 46 but I’m in the middle of a couple visual changes to the car and want to wait till the drags before I show it all together. But here is a bit of the dash and some stuff he’s painted on in the garage over the last couple years :) 6DE62C80-05E3-4B88-A41C-93CBE79FF82F.jpeg 6844247C-B558-4D5D-9E40-A3BAACFEE97E.jpeg 91DF5240-236A-4AC7-B9D2-DC30C3CD635E.jpeg 3FC0D779-517A-42F9-A9A0-E719D8369B01.jpeg

I love pin stripping but just have a hard time seeing on a car with all it's stock trim. ie: emblems etc. To me it's part of a nosed/decked car be it any year. Double lines on a stocker looks good and really set off two-tone paint. But it's what makes us all different.
