Hot Rods pinch

    Hi ,How much pinch has to be put in 32 rails for a 26-27 model t roadster to fit on them? where do you pinch at?

    I don't rely on "passed on" messurements when it comes to fitting old Ford components together. It "probably" works in most incidences but nothing beats taking direct measurements off the ACTUAL pieces being used. That way you know you've got the right information. Of course this requires you to know how a tape measure is operated.:rolleyes:
    A good example of how you can go wrong is the Bishop/Tardel book that was found to be 'off" a couple of times.

  3. Agree Frank. I am scratch building a 32 frame for my 28. I have stock pieces to measure as well as the Wescott prints. THERE AINT A DAMN THING THAT is the same from one reference to the other, even among stock parts. Mockup and fit is the key.
