WooHoo! Clearly I have too much money. I can't wait to put these suckers on my Abone! http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4606650232&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&rd=1 thanks Cody!
If you use these for thier intended purpose (acceleration) be sure to report back how they performed. I think we'd like to also hear how they perform on the street. Frank
for what I paid for these suckers, I forsee very few burn-outs in my future..... I'll report my findings in a future post!
These tires kick Ass! I kinda thought they might just be a plain tire with a slick look but hell no! They are the real deal! I heated them up in front of my shop and they get nice and sticky! even with a little ice and snow on the road, they handled nice! I didn't even notice any wierd handling characteristics on the road! I'm just waiting for the first big rain and then I'll see how happy I am with them.
Dont worry, there is a LOT of rubber on those, after 3 years, my Hursts dont even show any noticable wear.
I just bought a pair from Cody too...I can't wait to lay rubber in the MADSTER>> Cody was a real cool guy to deal with ..shipped the Slicks out ASAP and so far all i've heard was nothing but positive remarks about his product..
Steve am I the only one who is wondering why its feb. and you are postin about the fact you just put slicks on your A and not snow tires!!!! This weather is so great I had to break down and take the Olds out yesterday. The 4 popper can turn those bad boys? Cant wait to see 'em in person!
heh, did the one wheel peel in front of hub and filled the shop with tire smoke. I guess I'd better get a limited slip or get used to rotating the slicks side to side.
