  12. Thank you for posting the pics. The Green roadster with blower motor is from here in Phoenix owned by the Haifleys brothers shop. They drove it and the grey pick up next to it all the way from Phoenix no trailers.

Great photos @AldridgeDW. It took some effort to get clear shots given the number of people there. My first time for the event and we had a great visit. And thanks for the "rolling" shot of my roadster pic 7 of the first batch.

I spoke to the owner of this very cool car... and asked him about the history. Hot rodded about 60+ years ago, owner in the day got the call from Uncle Sam, car got tucked away for safe keeping and to await his return. He didn't make it home. The current owner purchased the car from the family in recent years out of New Jersey and has been mechanically going through the car while keeping all of the original character. Very cool car with a story worth telling.

Thanks for sharing the story, I got to speak with him very briefly as he was leaving the LG Kustoms open house on Saturday night but didn't get to hear the story. It was one of my favourites of the whole show, just super cool.

I'd hazzard a guess that there were a few trailers hidden around Anacortes, Vancouver BC and Port Angeles or stashed within a hundred miles of one of the ferry docks but I have to belive that the majority of the cars were driven. I saw one tow rig and trailer hidden behind one of the hotels in 2019. It's about 225 bucks one way to take an F350 crew cab and 24 ft trailer across the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. 76 for car and driver. Plus many groups from different areas make a hot rod road trip out of it.

  29. When I attended NW Deuce Days in 2013, someone asked me, "how did you get here"?
My response, "I drive 400 miles a day for 5 days".
