Many moons ago we painted my Model A with a mix of PPG DP-40 and DP-90 epoxy primers to get the look of dark gray old school primer.

 

Ironically, my first thought was of your truck. I think it's because I ran across the Coker ad sporting your satin beauty, thumbing through either Rod & Custom or Popular Hod Rodding earlier today.

 

What I am referring too is not primer. HRP

My A-V8 is painted Hot Rod Primer which is an actual primer from Dupli-Color.

 

Nailed it.

 

Hey I'll bet they really get worried at the airport when you show up.

Ought to be easy to find an A bone in primer here, I'll bet thet 90% or better of the A bones that get built never get out of primer.

 

I'm sure you heard about the 9 year old kid getting past security on on a airplane without a ticket,I show up and all the red flags go up.

They are not use to seeing a 6' 4" Neanderthal at the airport everyday. HRP

 

Well I'd tell you to get a haircut but I'm not going to so it would be a little hypocritical.

I was in the airport in Vagas a couple of years back and when I went through the scanner the lady said, "Ooops I wasn't supposed to see that." I just smiled and said, "Did I scare ya baby?"

I got a frag in my neck that sets off the detector once in a while ( not every time) the wand guy always looks confused when he finds it. I guess they are too young to know what a claymore is.

Back on topic there are a lot of primered A bones for sale in the class ads.
