  1. Yeah i agree, what size is it? like 4 gallons?

  2. The anti-chop. Nuthin like a phone booth for a break from the norm.

56 ford custom no offense intended but going with limefires you pretty much miss the whole '60s drag coupe thing. Not bustin' your chops just an observation.

  3. Porknbeaner, i hear ya. Im just trying to get everyones 2cents. I just like lime fires im not trying to make this completely era specific to the bone. What would your suggestion be on exhaust?

  4. Any suggestions on exhaust?

    Hi
Have drive the coupe for some days now and beside the small moontank the car works well. I have a griffin radiator in the trunk whit two electric fan and there is no heating problem , the engine is a 600hp 454 smallblock so if the radiator can cool this one I think this set up will cool anything.
Next thing will be to build a gastank just behind the seats and buy real slicks , the whitewall slicks I have on now is a joke.

For the coolingsystem I just take exhaust pipe (38mm and 46mm)(1"is 25.4mm get use to it;)) and mount it under the chassi and connect it
to the radiator in the back and the waterpump in front. You have to fill water in both the radiator and the engine to get rid of the air.
Here are some more pics of the build
The coup is going to the track for the first time on wednesday
It will be fun I hope.

Thanks 56 ford custom, How about your car any pics?

  10. Rodrobb, I will try and get some pics up as soon as I can. The thing is I am trying to get my 56 fairlane running driving and registered so I can pull it out into the street so that I can bring the t sedan home and start building it for my daily. I was going to start the t coupe first but my plans for that is like your but with the bbf 390fe and as a daily I couldnt do it. Also its going to be an exspensive build and I want to plan it out very well. My storage is really packed right now but I will try and snag you some pics of all the parts and what I will be working with.
