    I don't see a problem with it. The way the crossmember curves away from the mounting point, and there really isn't much travel needed.

    I am 5' 11", I am using a 3rd seat out of a van, so it is low to the floor. I removed the rear package tray and the seat slides back. Works out well for me.

    I was thinking of a 2.5-3.0" chop since my son is 6'1" and is only 14.

    hey i just chopped mine 4 1/2 and im 6' and 16 i fit fine with the stock seat about a 4-5 in cushion
