Great pics, thanks for posting. Man, you guys have some fine cycles, I dig 'em. That roadster with the radiator in the trunk is gonna need a bigger engine.

This 1953 Buick Super was built about 1956
or 57, in East Hartford, Conn.
I found this car sitting in a farmers yard arounf 1977.
In 1979 I sold it, it then went to Hersery Pa. were it was resold and was shipped to Sweden. At that time the car had been chopped and was in black primer

Does anyone have info on this 1953 Buick Super.

I have built aonther Buick with a lot of the same features, except the contontinental kit and a differant grill.

P.S Nice cars and nice coverage

    Hi Padoray !
Wow all of a sudden there it is , a picture of the Bozio Buick . This car is soley responsible for me getting into kustoms in the early eighties and when I first saw it as a 23year old car guy I didnt know what I was looking at . The car looked like it was made this way from the factory with all the stainless and chrome stuff fitted but much sleaker then I ever seen before . Back then it was hard finding out any info on Kustoms and I struggled the whole mid eighties to by books and magazines to find out more about it and the Bozio Buick only were driven acouple of years and then parked away . I have later talked to the owner and he brought it at the swap Hersey or Carlile (I dont know which) , and brought it to Sweden . I think someone had started chopping it in the US and the swedish guy "restored" and finished the started work . For some reason I cant find one picture on the internet so I need to dig thru my predigital pictures and see if I can find something . I talked to the guy two years ago and he said it still sits tucked away agains the inner wall in his multi car garage in Skövde Sweden , bummer , I bin wanting to see it for many years now ! I will try to contact the owner and see if he has some pictures of it ...........

Its great to here that the Bozio Buick is semi alive and still in Sweden.
The Bozio Buick was in Custom Illustrated vol 1, No. 1 July 1958. I have one copy and want to keep it.
But there might be some one out there that might have a copy. See pictures of the cover and artical.
When I sold the car in 1979 or 80 it was chopped and Idid buy it from John Bozio, so it was chopped by him between 1958 and 1976. I an not sure how long it sat in the farmers yard, but it had been sitting on the rocker panels in mud (spring thaw).

This is what The Bozio Buick looked like in 1986 when I saw it the first time! I got alot of inspiration from this car! I believe it's still the same guy who owns it.

Here are some photos I took at the 2007 A-Bombers OSW...

The car was built out of a four door.

Man !.....You gotta hand it to the Swedes !.....They know the looks.....and I can't imagine how hard it would be to scrounge up the cars and bikes and parts over there compared to here.......That's dedication in a big way......Nice job boys !
