Good show again this year, and even better than last year. I think this show is going to continue to gain momentum. Lots of shade and a nice cool breeze. I only snapped a handful of shots, but I liked them. Enjoy.
Still uploading. That little pu by Top Notch Kustoms was truely bad ass. I'm more into Old school Kustoms but I loved that one. I'll get some pics up tonight.
cool show...the two 40 mercs were built by Swanx members (the green one was extensively redone by Rob Struven...tattoo artist extroardinaire) originally built by Ralph Finley and Gunar Hansken (I got to help on the chop some) the Blue car was built by Don Murray. They are both sweet cars!
It was very cool to see that these two cars have kept on evolving, it was like seeing a couple old friends! Im loving the direction that the new owners have taken them! Good job, Rob and Jack! Brewsir...As I remember, you did a lot more that just help with the top!
Found this from early '00s. Same cars? Didnt Sacramento Kustoms show a car very similar to that blue one last dec. at the Autorama?
Yeah it's the same blue 40 that was in the suede pavillon in Sac. Both 40's are even better in person. I think Rob Struven was trying or may still be trying to sell his. Next year work is not getting in the way of a show so close to home.
Those two cars are the same ones from the Knockout. The pics you posted are from the 2002 Swanx Fall Fiasco. The light blue car you posted is darker blue now, while the darker blue one is now green.
