I like seeing pics of racing of way back in the day since the cars still look like cars and you can tell them apart unlike today,they look like after a tire change they could be driven on the street.

 

This is the kind of soul that stock car racing used to have. The cars were different, engines were different, and the drivers were men, not corporate talking heads.

Thanks for the pictures, they are great. Still picking out little details, like the convertible racer in the first one. That's Junior Johnson for sure in the second pic, but I don't know the others.

 

You gotta love it. Operating vent and door windows!!
