A friend remembered an old fella (farmer) who used to sell old cars and parts, so we went there yesterday. Found these items still there, could use some advise about the intake manifold, are they anygood to use? also can someone tell what year the tranny is by the photo? 7 artillery rims, mdl. t engine and a very nice 37 pick-up radiator, and 2- sets rear backing plates complete off a 40 ford, buddy also picked up an old frame part off a combine, says they make engine stands to run mdl. A engins, has the radiator mounts with it 5.00 for it. 180. for all. Felt really good to get out and do some look'en, didn't find any ford wire wheels but has some off 32 chevy, do they have any value? bunch some measured 17-to-20 in. across. His old tractor busted a hydrolic hose on the first engine lift so we took it off for him and he went to town, 10 miles, and got one and we put it back on for him and finished loading. He has a hard time getting around now. All in all pretty fun day.
Transmission looks like a one ton truck item. Radiator and wheels look like the gems of the find. T engine value depends on its age and condition. Bob
Yep, that's probably a 4 speed truck box with a PTO or a provision for one. Last one I had I sold to a guy to make it so he didn't have to ride his trucks brake in parades.
