So... Another '27 Mercury in the works?

 

No idea,but Shorty Fulton had one at his Akron,Ohio airport. What is the story on the Deluxe?

 

Great thread. Here's my '36, deciding what it want's to be when it grows up.

I was never really a phaeton guy, but I picked up this body a few years back at the roadster show and tossed a beater together. Funny thing is since getting it on the road last July I've put over 10k miles on it. Party bus, people hauler, shop truck, racer, off roader all mixed in one. Had thoughts of selling it in the past but can honestly say I've never had more fun in any other car. Plus it's a stupid car....283, th350, 9" so it's become the local loaner hot rod for everyone I know.

That photo was taken at the Yokohama Hot Rod Show last year, and I think the car was built by Sidemotors Japan.

 

A couple beaters that live here.
