    i've always wanted to put it on here but my picture posting abilities leave something to be desired. In my opinion that's one of the better pics of dad's coupe

    That flat marroon one is killer! (a model A is just a coupe, it's redundant to say 5 window)

    That's the only pic i had of that car. Maybe do a search for slat flat cars and there might be more pics of that car. :)

    This coupe was at Bowling Green

    The owner lives over in Lexington about 20 minutes from here. He has owned this car since he was a kid. The last flathead blew up on him with only 265,000 miles on it. It made it home from Charlotte on 7 cylinders, using only 9 quarts of oil. I think the block was OK, I don't know exactly what happened to it. Cool car with a cool history!

    It's not a Model A, though. It was discussed here before, and I believe it's a Chevrolet.

    My '31 as it sits. Not so much a traditional hot rod, but this Christmas it's getting an original Miller OHV conversion, aluminum Miller dual-updraft intake w/ 2 Miller racing carbs on a B block with lotsa go fast goodies:D . My grandpa just got a '28 coupe, older resto, and he's dropping in his old Model A drag motor from the 50's. :cool: [​IMG]
