Not yet, but I've been looking also... 60-65 'birds are coming down in price... and are a good buy in my opinion. 1959 on down are still outrageous though. I will keep my eyes peeled
Theres one in the englishtown pics from a few weeks ago,try a search.the orange one with flames, real badass car.
Here's mine, not all that cool yet. The pics are huge, hence the links: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/Flexicoker/Misc/IMG_0037.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/Flexicoker/Misc/IMG_0038.jpg
Don't you mean '61-66? '60 is the same body as the '59, but with ("Impala" looking) six tail lights. '58-'60 "squarebirds" why I dont really know because there isnt a straight surface anywhere on that car except the fin line... The hood has more contours than the ocean! I like the '61-'62s the most of any Tbirds. Clean machines! '63 they did weird stuff on the fenders and doors. Then the squared off rear '64-'66 were pretty cool too.
Ok, not really traditional, but came across it when looking for Rick Dore's '63 T-Bird custom. Here is a link on Dore's, seems the pics are pretty well protected, but lots of info. on the build up: http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?id=27536
Here's mine...It's a '61...and whadayouknow it's for sale...needs some love go to this thread....http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53816 i'm in LB...PM me if you're interested...
Here is my dad's '60. It is sky blue pink(lite blue with red pearl) and he laced the hood scoop. It is hard to get the pearl to show up in the pics, but the color flips people out. Minor dechroming made it a pretty cool mild custom. And what do you know, it's for sale. Need to fund the new project.
yup this one has to be my favorite Bird...Dont know who owns it but I believe hes a Chopper ...This car is TITS !!! and for sale last i heard...dont know how much tho...
Well, 3W Larry and Adjustable Whatever-Your-Name-Is, sorry you think I'm a pest... I guess, I was kinda expecting that... I would like to stick my message on a milk cartoon, quite frankly. I would like to pay for an advertisement in a magazine. But Jim Aust and Kevin Lee have blown me off, and sent me to this message board. So, if you think I'm a pain in the ass, be sure to let Kevin know. Aloha, fellas.
If you were expecting that, then why be one? The people on the HAMB will go to incredible lengths to help other car people, but they are less likely to help if you piss them off. Also, it seems to me that persons that are protective of their privacy (like Watson apearently is) dont respond well to being pushy... I really hope you find the Car and get to talk to Watson eventually...
