I am unsure which direction I want to go with the paint on my F1 so I figured I'd ask the hambnation. I was thinking all white top with metallic emerald green, or metallic midnight blue below the body line, or even paint it all white with a black grill/running boards. What do you guys think? Any other color suggestions? Here is a pic of how it basically sits right now. I've sanded and filled all the waves in the fenders/hood so it will be ready for primer this weekend.... paint is going to be sprayed soon. Thanks in advance guys!

What era look are you shooting for? Imagine the interior for that era.....
This will help picture wheels, which will help picture a color!!

I suppose I don't really have an era. More of a Bonneville look. I am going to convert it to 5 lug with steel wheels, moon discs, black wall tires and keep the interior stock (tan seat and carpet with black dash/doors.)

No thoughts of Ford "Springtime Yellow"?? always looks awesome with moon discs!! Especially teamed with black & white features.
Even cooler if it was over red oxide primer that was rubbed through in a few places from decades of polishing....

Otherwise a straight "Washington Blue" would be nice!!

  7. I've always liked Meadow Green with a cream grille.

    I like my trucks utilitarian.

A single color with an acceptance that it will get chipped and damaged through use.

Chrome bumpers and bits are okay.

The bed should still be functional and it won't be so lowered you can't still use it as a truck.

    That's my opinion.

Super dark green with black rims and grille.
    Or off-white rims and grille.
Or burnt orange rims, rings and caps, and black or off-white grille.
