Don't know, but if so, you have plenty of company, including me. I need a chain drive car with chains to get outa here, before I say the wrong thing (again).

Nice photo of McLaughlins, Twin6--I'd love one of those RNWMP license plates!

A thousand apologies ..... did not think before posting. I can, on reflection, understand how a tow truck can be considered porn.

To make up for the above, here's one without a motor vehicle of any kind:

Model F Stanley, c. 1905. Bad enough to have an accident, but to have the car hauled home by horse drawn equipment must have been humiliating.

Old Packards must have been built of tough stuff, for this one to have been put in use as a tow truck once its days as a luxury car were over.

Can you imagine a 12-year-old Caddy being used as a tow truck these days?

T6 is on stean and it has been steamy here in New England so here's some more steam. This is a Steam traction Engine that has a water tank right next to it. It is running a Logan thresher by a crossed belt.

Neat shot of a Doble dash. Very few Dobles were built, but the survival rate on the cars is good. Like Whites, they have flash tube boilers, but use something more akin to a furnace burner. They can steam up from a cold start in 2 minutes or less, and are incredibly quiet.

No steam here, no how, no way. Air cooled Franklin and a lady who rivals some of the Packard girls...
