    I picked up a 1930 coupster today from a guy that owns a private museum on the East coast. Here are some photos.

    By the way, the museum is not open to the public, but he makes it available for tours to groups. If anyone is interested in putting a group tour together, PM me and I will give you the info. The museum is in PA.

    Anywho, here are some pix;

    There are more, but I didn't get a chance to snap more pix, including a boatload of significant race cars. Amazing toy box!!

    Yup some amazing toys. All very famous cars. At least the one you got will get driven! Thanks for sharing your pics!

    I was told that all get driven, except the Trepanier Ridler car. That thing is insanely slick and sanitary.

  12. Very nice!

    Are these a private collection or is the guy a dealer? I ask this because you mentioned that you had to pick one up.

    Thanks for the cool shots!

    It's a private collection......all the cars are owned by the same gentleman, they are not for sale/he's not a dealer. He loves to show the cars to fellow enthusiasts. The coupster was a brokered sale; they were selling it for a friend.

    The underside of that 36 is almost better looking than the topside.

    Apologies, no. My iphone battery was near dead when I snapped these pictures. The interior of that car is very simple and beautiful.....the dash is recessed and angled up, instruments are set in an engine-turned plate.

    That car is 'The Avenger'. It won the 1961 Grand National Roadster Show.
