Thanks for sharing, lots of great cars and smiling faces.
Just watched your video all the way through and then realised there was sound,,lol, so I had to watch it all again . Awesome stuff. I love a gal that can whistle and she must have worked hard that day. Well done to her and all for what looks like a great event. Keep em coming Dan please,, cheers
Awesome pics as usual! Thanks for posting.
I am pretty sure that is true as well. It is one of those things that didn't really exist in real life.
You're welcome @BigO. Glad you enjoyed it twice @deadbeat. I, or someone more talented with a video camera, should just film Amy going about her duties launching cars. She is amazing! Both here and at the Dirt Drags. I am pretty sure I included her in my video from there too.
You're welcome Tom (@TFoch) - thank you!
Sweet looking little Model A pickup ↑
Larry Jones (@winduptoy) and his '29 before and after take off.

And here is one of you John (@Binger) and Chelle (@MrsBinger )
Thanks Dan I love this one!!!
You're welcome John @Binger
Going into turn 1
A smoky blast off - 1929 A pickup - Robert Steggell
Great work Dan. Thanks for the memories. Enjoyed meeting you in Central City.
You're welcome @Latigo. Thanks for the comment. What name did I meet you as in Central City? I can then add you to my HAMB Name- Real Name cross reference
I should have mentioned this before, for those of you that haven't been there, there is also a concurrent car show. Cars that participate in the car show or reliability run do not have to meet the same 1954 or earlier guidelines that the hill climb cars do.
I know someone requested seeing another picture of this car - the 32 3W - it was one of the cars in post 22, but I cannot remember where I saw that.
That 3W is out of Georgia. We hung with those guys all weekend and they were super cool! Charles and his friend Wayne. I'm not sure if they are HAMB ers?
Thanks @cactus1 - I could have sworn someone left a post about it saying that the car was theirs or their friend's car and asked me if I had any more on it. Maybe the post was later deleted.
Oh Dan thank you so much for posting your photo of my red Chevy. I kept looking every time that you posted a photo and hoping you got this very shot with the trees in the background. Thanks so much.
You're welcome John - there will be at least one more.
Coming into and leaving turn 1
Superb shots as we've come to expect, Dan. Thanks so much for the ride along. That was a great experience seeing the action from the rumble seat. The hillside colors were fantastic, too. What a perfect setting for a hot rod event.
You're welcome Wayne (@Bowtie Coupe ) It was a really nice year this year. Glad you enjoyed the video of the ride up. Thanks for your always appreciated comments.
This shot of Stacy and Paul just making the bend in the center of turn 1 shows just how much side activity is going on.
Larry (@winduptoy) really leaning into it and his passenger well ?
Dan thanks for the ride. I especially like all the fall colors and the cars. Frank
You're welcome Frank (@1-SHOT ). Thanks.
Thank you. What a great event.
