Friend and nieghbor Chris Davis. Very low buck deal. Mostly home built with an all volunteer crew of friends and family. Been sneaking up on it and went 6.50's which compared to the big dollar teams doesn't seem impressive but it was his best run to date and they didn't hurt it.

  3. That's a cool tidbit! It's not everyday that "the little guy" can compete in such classes due to the financial burdon it takes. I'm glad he's havin' fun.

WOW, Between your pictures Doug, and Chad's live coverage on Bang Shift.com it's like almost being there! Except for the air fare, rental car, overpriced room, and track food!
    Thank-you very much!

Thanks so much for taking us along Mr. H.
Some of the rail body metalwork still amazes,
Great shots to spend time looking over for details.

These are some really great pictures, Doug.... As is usual for your efforts.
I envy your ability to move around fast enough to stay focused and get the number/quality of shots you do....

I don't know about you, but the day entered the big 6th decade my speed and stamina took a serious dump...

Thanks for posting all these.... That in itself is a big job...

May be the best coverage ever of a racing event. Thanx for all the quality close ups of the fab rigs. Very impressive. ~sololobo~
