Thanksgiving morning we meet up at McDonalds on Central and cruise south until we reach the top of South Mountain. McDonalds is closed that day so make sure you fill your belly and your gas tank beforehand! Show up at 8:00am and we head out at 8:30am. Come on out and have some Turkey day fun for a couple of hours.

McDonalds is located at 3701 N Central, between Indian School and Osborn.

Guaranteed you'll have fun, all we do is drive and enjoy scenery. That's a perfect day in my book. See you guys there!

Gang, this is sooooo much fun, your a complete tool if ya miss it! It isn't an all day affair, and if you have never been up South Mountain the views are worth the cruise themselves. Before the hassle and the hustle, join us for this one last perfect moring of pre-holiday hot rod fun!!!

Jeez-O-Man! Do I have to tie a pork chop around Nick's neck to get you guys to play with him?! This thing he started last year is soooooooo much fun, ya gotta do it. Judy and I will be there in the 'Bucket, and I will brow beat (gently) Bodi into the same...

I've been up and down South Mountain many times -- great views from the top (and sides) of the hill. Unfortunately didn't have a rod those times... remember the stone bar just before the entrance? Beer, pool table.... I think it was called The Last Outpost or something.... then later it was vacant... and I think it's totally gone now....

Well I'll be with you guys in spirit on Thanksgiving.

Gonna TRY and make it. Depending on what time I have to be in Cave Creek to eat some bird.....If I can't, be safe and have a killer time.

Just for a time reference, my brother and I were eating taco's at 40th street and Thomas by 11:30am last year. And we stopped at Del Rey's for a bit, and bailed GasserSteve out when he ran his heap outta gas. Even if you just come along for the cruise and a couple photo's at the top, you should still be able to make even the earliest of early meals.

Hey, I do have to clarify that due to the unfortunate loss of our Falcon Wagon this summer, the turkey that Judy and I were going to bring on this deal for a top of the mountain snack is off. Just no room for such niceties in the T-Bucket...

Looks like somebody planted a tree in the middle of Central between Washington and Jefferson, but it only affects northbound travel. Also Chip, I'd like to place my order for a couple of those Boston crème ones...

Aint it cute how the city does stuff like that? I think it is pretty much just to piss me and maybe another couple of downtown dwellers off. " We're sorry Mr. Quinn, but it affect such a very small amount of the population in Phoenix". Yes, but it almost always effects me!

I just realized my previous post was kinda rude in assuming this cruise was open to anyone. Is it cool if I tag along?

All are welcome, we'd prefer '65 and older vehicles but we ain't here to tell anyone they can't come along. I reckon a guy could bring his '89 Civic if he thought he could take all the laughter and abuse.

Man, I wish my pickup was able to make the trip! I'd be there in a heartbeat. Hopefully next year, provided I don't have to work.
