its hard to get good pics, but its standard base white, with 2 coats prlx2 pearl, with a light dust coat of hok ice pearl..still gotta finish a few parts, and color sand/ buff, then stripe..

ghost lace indeed, its an idea i've had for awhile, atleast since i bought the car.
it fades nicely, when you walk up you don't even notice it, but when it shifts, boy does it shift. its not overbearing.

just a subtle blue/green shimmer, and the hok ice pearl is more of a micro flake than a pearl in my opinion..just enough to add a shimmer on an overcast day..

    thanks for the compliments.

i'm thinking of a light minty green for the striping, since the interior is kind of a teal.

and heres a few shots of it where it blends. granted the striping will make it a little more obvious. but still subtle...

I love some pearls! Best thing about it, latter down the road if you want to change it up, pick your favorite candy and spray right over that pearl!!

Very very very light mint green striping. It sounds like you've got it figured out and I concur, that would look great.

that really looks great, i like it alot. really good idea. just a thought, why not try a silver stripe to out line the scallops and roof, and incorperate the mint green on your hood and trunk pieces. either way i'm sure it will look bitchin'. nice job!

OH that is sick! So subtle. I love it. Can't stop staring at it. It's so subtle I think you could go astro's and it would look killer maybe with real thin white walls. I saw some double white walls with astro's somewhere and they looked great, would go beautifully with your white on white scheme.........what ever the wheel choice its gonna be a killer when it's done! nice job man.

  23. supremes or even cragars with pinners for that late 60's feel. mint green steelies faded like mcphails chevy would rule, too. oh yeah, fix that front bumper! ha ha

Very nice paint, greqat idea you had!
    I'd run Supremes.
How about a couple or 3 different pinstripe colors...all should be very pale pastel colors, though, just as subtle as the paint.

thanks matt, yeah we are going to address the front bumper alignment this week.
and i'm leaning towards the painted steel wheels,
and striping will be most likely in a pale yellow, green and silver.
gonna do a rather large piece on the trunk lid, and a few small lines here and there.

    keep the ideas comin.

That is an awesome look. Unless there are tape line imperfections in it. I vote no stripe at all around the borders. Maybe something light and tastefull on the hood and trunk. I always wondered what it would look like with "ghost lace". You will probably see it more often cause yours looks great!
