When setting up a PCV/breather system should I just run a hose from a vaccum souce on the intake to a breather with an outlet OR do I need to run an actual PCV valve in one of the valve covers or in a breather that accomodates a valve. I guess what i am asking is do I need a PCV valve or not?

    Thanks.

Probably a good idea to have one to ensure that if your car ever hiccups or backfires through the intake that it doesn't blow out every gasket and seal on your motor.

Oh, and instead of running it to the intake vacuum source you could also run it (with a PCV filter) to the under-side of your air cleaner if that is easier...
