Anyone know if the blue econoline pickup in the cars for sale area sold or if the price came down from 3500? I couldnt make it back today.
I got my ass soaked loading up after the rain hit. Sold quite a bit. Picked up a few odds and ends for the '50 Sedan Delivery project. Bought 5 perfect early vette smoothie wheels for $100, tail light for $10, accelerator linkage for a buck, old Moon Gas pedal for $5. Traded a buddy a 350 harmonic balancer for a new pair of brake drums. Bought a dual master cylinder from Lucky's, the best little Hotrod shop at the swap meet.
I got a 32 dash for 15 bucks a windshield frame for 10 bucks and a complete 32 axle hub to hub with spring for 50 .Iwalked the whole thing , got soaked &still dont think I saw all of it I loved every step of it.
This is one of most disorganized swap meets I have seen. Motor Homes parked and taking up 2/3's of an isle. Rows that just end and don't connect. Some good stuff but my old feet and back give out quickly. Just had to put my whinning in.
I bought - 32 firewall - 3 32 radiators -32 coupe/sedan header pannel - 32 nos sparton ooga horn -32 5 window coupe driver garnish molding - 32 sedan floor (very nice) -32 kingpins - 32 original front and rear cross member - 32 cowl vent bracket(original) - 32 nos worm and shaft that goes inside of the steering box. - 32 gas tank - 40 ford front drums and backing plates with all internals - old shelby bike with a springer front end - finned flathead heads -28-29 roadster quarter pannels -hood and some side trim for my 59 el camino and some other parts I cant think of right now, over all good swap meet.
I got the following: '51 Ford hood $300 pair of '51 Ford headlight doors $25 1 '51 Ford taillight free upper respiratory tract infection - also free...
It was really slow all weekend. Never knew people were so scared of a little rain. I sold more on sunday morning than I did all of thursday. Oh... and someone did steal a rally centercap out of a box of centercaps we had.
this was a great turn out. i'll agree the layout was a bit rough. saw alot of nice stuff, but nothing i needed..it figures, when you have a wad of cash to spend you never find what you need..but damn if your broke, you find everything you need..
I got a set of eddie meyer heads and intake plus a v drive wico mag for a v8 60. Gonna have a sweet engine in my midget now!
Oh.. did buy 3, 1932 Texas plates. Need to be restored (repainted), but pretty decent over all..was $5 bucks a piece too much????
