    Alright, so heres the story:

I have a freind and we're "sharing" a 51 Pontiac parts car. I need to take the knuckles out of the front end (im unsure of the right term, its the piece that connects the upper and lower control arms and mounts to the spindle) but taking those would make it harder to put the car on a trailer when he needs to move it... its in his sisters driveway, so that might be soon.

I really need the knuckle (?) asap so i cant really wait until he figures out a place to put the car. hopefully its not in the scrap yard :(

So, how would you guys put a car on a trailer that didnt have a lot of the front end in tact?

Harbor Freight sells fairly strong dollies that would work. Check out the furniture-moving type, not the kind the wheel sits in.

Typically, they are called 'spindle supports'..............

Take em off, on the trailer. That way you can move it from your house to his at will, and its already on the trailer when the show is over.
