Nice one Pete! Great thread so far. How are you progressing? Been following the build from day one. Keep it up.

See ya. (from a guy who spent 12 years in Melbourne)

Actually had a mate swing by yesterday and finish welding the chassis. Will be fitting a SBC/350 combo this week then if it doesn't sell will be putting it away and keeping it.

Move to China full time next Friday. Would still love to blast through Beijing in a cool roadster.... :)

The roof treatment above the windshield makes the car. Removing the visor is often not an attractive option but this guy did it in a simple yet attractive way. A nice touch to keep it that way.

Well guys, well those watching this. I am now living in BF nowhere China for the foreseeable future so the coupe has been pushed into a corner in a mates shed and will sit that way for as long as I am away. Thanks for watching so far.

Nope but in the last month I've eaten dog, pidgeon and donkey. Passed on the whole frogs and the deep fried baby chickens - seriously.

Its actually pretty cool where I am. Only westerner in a city of 1.2 million. My nickname is the Panda as everyone likes to look at me :) Nothing HAMB friendly but some late 70s Caddys and Big fords pop up every now and then....

Please guys no China bashing. I guess you already know that the only GM business that was profitable last year was the China one....

Cool build man, I really dig the original shots of her. I'll eat almost anything but I think I'll stick to KFC over that plate chickens.:D

Pete, I've heard there's a few decent waves tucked away in China. You gonna have a look?
