Packard straight 8s, perf mods, let's talk about it

Great read, I want one. The You Tube clip says it all. Is part of that wine the quick change?

 

I’m getting close to pulling down my 39 282 straight 8. So let’s see if anything new comes up.

 

I note most of the talk (and rightfully so) is about the larger 327 and 356 or 359 motors. I'm looking at a '46 Clipper w/ the smaller 282. Has anybody had some experience with adding a number of performance mods to this 282?
