I think Overkill was a trial, "see how well it sells", sort of thing. I bought a copy last winter. I'm hoping they come out with a 2nd issue.

Apparently the "real car guys who don't care what other people think" didn't care to buy the magazine either. Another Freiburger Fizzle.

Not only is there a second issue, but a third will go on sale 12/23/13. Not entirely HAMB material, not OSR either, kinda a mix of both.

I just bought the Winter 2014 issue. The Cutworm Specialities truck is without a doubt one of my all time favorite rides.

I bought mine at the local grocery store. If you want to see the car I'm talking about you can Google Cutworm Specialities and click "Aluminum Dually"

I bought the 3rd issue last month. Next one is due to be released in October of this year. Cutworm builds some incredible rides.

While not very Hamb friendly, from a "new blank sheet of paper" design and fabrication standpoint they have managed to select some of the better offerings out there in rat rod land... and a few not so much. I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it, either.

I just secretly wish for the return of a decent stance and not "let's see how low we can get everything." Wait. I guess it's not really a secret any more, is it? :D
