Thought I would share this little project of sort we found.. I have been wanting to find an Original Andys Instant T for awhile, and near the end of September this year our friend Beppie sent a listing from eBay that stated just that An Original Andys T, so couple of text messages, a couple bids and one phone call and we purchased this little beauty, Originally built in 1968 by my Dad Andy and for a good friend Lance Miller of San Bruno.
It was pretty much original , the fenders were added in the late 70's and at some point the blower and some things in the motor were changed, we are in the process of getting it back to as original as possible. I have been in touch with the original owner and he has been the best in sending me his last license plate frame for the T.
The first couple of pics are from 1970ish , the one with the fenders is how we purchased it.
And lastly how it sits at this point . We are having fun with it, I tried to upload a video but couldn't figure it out.... Enjoy I will update soon There are some cool stories around this little beauty.

  5. That's a great one! I've always loved Andy's T's. Use to visit the old Shop and talk to your Dad. How's he doing these days?

Actually it was painted by Mike Haas , who was Arts partner at the time, but it is in amazing shape.

These were and are a Great example of T buckets! Glad that you could get one of the originals that was obviously loved by all the owners. What was your Dad's reaction?!

  26. Now that’s what I call a great find. I think it’s awesome that you found something with a bit of family history and an original Andy’s T no less. Congratulations, hope you have fun with it.
