OT - Coming to Austin

Hey Austin guys,
I am gonna be in Ausin for work Next Month. I am thinking about coming in a few days early. Anything goin on the weekend of the 9th and 10th? My job starts on the 11th and I may come in the evening of the 8th. Also can anyone reccomend an inexpensive place to stay? I have a room for my job starting on the 11th.
