I wish Axle the best on the sale. It is fun watching it on there. It has never looked better than in the R&K feature. I was a little frustrated when that came out because there were many mistakes but nothing intentional or misleading. I almost started a thread but I'm not into the drama scene. If the reserve is met I'm sure the new owner will be happy with it. I sure enjoyed the hell out of it while I owned it.
My all time favorite Willys shot is the one with you and Hank driving side by side - what a sight to behold on the street!
It was a short street and we went up and down a few times with my wife Mary driving and I was taking the shot for the Willys club magazine out the back of my 71 Chevy station wagon. Some one saw this and figured we were getting ready to race and called the cops. Well we went over to San Marcus High School parking lot to take a few more shots and guess who showed up....
