How's this? It's called Big Bad Orange and it's an AMC color from '68 or '69 might've been '70. Also, this was just a glossy single stage. I've seen it with clear and it looks really good.

As much as I want to paint it on the 32 chevy coupe, the real traditional orange is Omaha Orange. It may have been an optional color for that chevy when it was new.It is orange and was on a lot of hotrods.

Audi S3 Gluto Glow Orange ('08-09?)...way bright & not too light, very limited production. May have to get it directly from Audi...if they'd sell it

no metallic/pearl, not on a classic, but if you're just looking for a hot color:

Check out a color chip book for a '96 Ford Mustang only Bright Tangarine. I think you'll like it. Good luck!

You can see the remains of the hugger orange on the 57 in my avatar. (What I haven't razor blade scraped off yet.) Painted it that color back in 1989. I have a full gallon of PPG Starbase basecoat Hugger orange for this car but now I'm going black with flames:cool:. Guess I'll go with orange on my '63 truck now:D

Go cruise the nail polish section at WalMart. I have 2 daughters and know for a fact there's some hideous bright oranges there!

Or is there an OSHA Safety Orange available?
