Some of you may have heard obout Miles Write who was diagnosed with Lukemia last Summer. I had first met Miles at one of the classes at the local College last year. After hearing of him and his dilema Dad and I got in touch with him at the hospitol and told him to pick out a pair of tires. Not knowing what the future hold's I knew all we have is our friends and our dreams, his dream was to get this car back out on the pavement and not without a little help from his friends. Saturday I recieved a phone call saying I mounting up the tires and within 15 minutes I was there making sure everything went smooth. Miles thank you for showing me true courage and the ability to be strong under pressure. You friend's Cody and Steve Adams Adams Hot Rod Rubber Hurst Racing Tires p.s. This car was built by his Grandfather in 1961. Car wears original paint and until Saturady original rear tires. Car equipped with Man a Fre 4 Deuce Intake, Steel Body!, Miles told me Grandfather still enjoys driving car like wildman
Both the car and Miles are still running a little rough but nothing a plug change and a heavy throttle won't fix! Cody
That story says it all, the gift of his dad's efforts continues to give, friends step in to stand in the gap when you can't, and a dream comes true. You can't make up stuff like that! What is that old saying "Humility is not thinking less of yourself- it is thinking of you self less" Thanks Cody and Steve for showing us the Gospel instead of just telling us!
