Folks Of Interest One owner 57 Bel Air!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrodA, Mar 10, 2017.

  1. Reminds me of an Aunt of mine-- I think one of the best parts of the interview was her last statement. "People tell me 'I used to have a 57 Chevy and I wish I had kept it' -- 'well, why didn't they?'"
    Sassy old broad.

i think changing the oil every 1000 miles is a bit excessive, but hey---if it works for her.......

    Is it the original engine?

The most amazing part to me is that she only put 116000 miles on it in 60 years. How could someone own a car that long and not need to use it more than that ?

Cool little old lady! The low milers are out there... I bought my 62 Impala in 1996 as my first old car with just under 16000 original miles... I´ve added only 8000 miles in 21 years.Back then I couldn´t bring myself to drive this car daily, now I´m glad I didn´t. Beaters are more fun.

  11. Bruce - it's green, right? Inside lighting throws me off but I don't recognize that shade of factory.

  14. No seat belt. Who's gonna tell her? Not me!
Nicely optioned Bel Air. Black, all black, with a red interior. Backup lights, bumper bullets & guards, dual mirrors, door edge guards, pushbutton radio, turboglide, power pack (duals).

Bruce - is that car a survivor? It looks new. 1st 'vert I've ever seen without bullets.
