    Hi,

I'm looking all over the place for the nut that holds the pitman arm on my steering box. It's an F3 box. I've been all over the local yards looking with no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Also, here's a pic of my finished frame...

I've been all over... No hardware store or fastener place seems to have it. It's apparently a Ford specific thread...? Not sure on the count.

Try a Cat tractor store. They carry a large supply of grade 8 nuts and bolts. I think you are looking for a large castle nut that takes a cotter pin. Ford used standard thread counts but sometines used odd sizes like #12NC for the door hardware in the '30's-'40's cars.
