This is my 51 Willys O/T shop truck. spent it's previous life as a real tow truck with a farmer made boom.It hauls engines, scrap metal and fire wood. With only 71 HP it's a slow ride, but 5.38 gears and 2.43 low range and 4 wheel drive it can crawl over rocks, tow a two wheel drive truck with stuck brakes and slog down muddy rutted roads,or my driveway, without bottoming out or getting stuck.

Back in 2008 when I bought it this C10 was the shop truck for a local Rod Shop. Since then a lot has changed on it but it will once again get some door art, if I can ever settle on a logo.

It may not be a hot rod or a custom but it sure fits my needs of getting me to remote locations to pick up the next project or just goodies for present projects.

    That Mercury truck is awesome!

  23. yeah, that merc is really somthin' else. you know you have a great truck when you can haul 2 tons of whatever the hell you want around for miles then go down to the drag strip and do well. you can't do ANY of that stuff in trucks nowadays.
