Got a pic somewhere of Tommy Ivo's hauler from around 68/69. Thought it was too cool in the day. COE Dodge, held two rails side by side behind glass sides and his street Corvette on top. Always a showman.

  4. Found these pics on the net a while ago. Ivo was a class act all the way.

    Hey Royal,
Look at the tounge on the trailer in OL 55's # 38 post. That looks like Dragmaster style stuff.

Does anyone remeber a car called"Texas Twister"? I remebered it as being Eddie Hills old car but not sure. Anyway I know where it is and still has a flathead and a hand pump on it. The original pipe trailer is under it. Am I remebering correctly? TP

I still take my roadster to national events on an open trailer.

This is my favorite thread! I'm still pulling my little drag car with a tow bar. It's time to move up to a trailer. This thread is where I'm getting my building ideas. Thanks to all the contributors.

Sitting here reading this thread and in walks my house mates 16 year old son, after a few moments of him evidently reading the screen he asks me,
"Why would a dragster need a trailer?"

What timing! I just lettered this old Kalitta trailer for Don Garlits this week. It's Connie Kalitta's from 1966. It originally had a flat roof. They added the step up once they started running taller rear wings. Don got this thing somewhere in Tenn. He has replaced the rotted wooden floors. They are going to repaint the overall trailer white. He plans on having this sit outside the museum.
