Great portuguese skills...Are you Brazilian or Argentine???
All kinds of Chevys
There are some old dealerships still standing but the plants are all supermodern nowadays:
An Oldsmobile as a racing car in 1925...The estate of Sao Paulo Raid...
Chevys in front an old Chevy Plant
Inside that same old plant
how well have the late 20's to the mid 50's cars held up in your country?
are there still many of them around being used?
is there any "hot rod" scene in Brazil?
Thanks for the pictures and history
I'm an Argentine guy using the google translate.... yeahh
We communicate with people in The Hamb worldwide, is very useful for all and you are a neighboring country, I feel like we lived in the same country brother!!
One cheers for us!! with a frozen Skol, bebo todas, so geladinha!!
During the sixties Brazil became highly industrialized and the Iron and steel industries used old cars to feed their need for steel...But there many enthusiasts of antique cars around here...Many collections...People use to keep cars in their garage instead of riding them...But in the last years more guys are building hot rods and kustoms...Here I send you a link of one of my threads in the HAMB just to give you an idea:
glad to see there is this passion down in Brazil too
Glad you like it!
...Dealers All Around...
Wow, how did I miss this thread? Thank You Ricardo. Oh, and as an added note that Ford in the Chevrolet parade, probably had a Chevy engine like so many hot rods do!
