Now that's cool. I have never seen one with a cap like that. I had to cut my flip cap off and weld on a screw on type to make it NHRA legal. Is that one for sale?
Its been posted but I picked up an early version of the black face oil pressure gauges and here is a 1-1/2 gallon Eelco tank I took in trade. Anyone have pictures of their otherwise listed "rare" items. I'll dig up some more pictures to add aswell. I'm looking for a matching fuel pressure gauge and thinking of trading off or selling an Eelco pressure pump...
I have a set of the disc.I also have a shifter thats eelco, footsie gas pedal and dimmer switch, and some ten toes up and ten toes down.
I have an old bullet shaped eelco fuel tank that was in the trunk of my 62 chevy 2 drag car when I got it. Has a large outlet at the tapered (back) end. I will post some pictures as soon as i can .
TP, do you have a shot of the shifter? Here is my finned Eelco pedal, and the remote mount pressure pump. The knob is starting to peel but otherwise the piece is in rather good shape.
I think the most unusual Eelco piece in my collection is a never used water slide decal about 6" x 8" that was given to dealers in the 60's which has a large foot and says"eelco products sold here". With a unique x made from feets on the bottom.
16" Eelco spun discs, Shifter boot trim, Gas tanks brackets, Fuel line connectors, Water slide decals, and some other stuff I can't remember....Lucky
Anyone ever found a ten gallon or larger Eelco tank much less have one forsale? The largest I've yet to find listed in old ads/catalogs or in person is 5 gallons.
The other day I was going through some parts I got with a bunch of nailhead junk I bought and came across a box with "Eelco" written all over it. My heart started racing. I opened it up and it was just some steel header flanges.
Ive got a 3 1/2 gallon aluminum fuel tank with original brackets and a flip cap, a 4 gage panel and a chrome fuel pump blockoff plate for a sbc.
nothing like a vintage EELCO thread to brighten up my boring work day. I picked up a 4 toed EELCO gas pedal a while back and posted it here to find out what it was. couple 'experts" came on telling me it was nothing fancy and they can be bought at the local parts store for cheap. I found out later it was EELCO. I'd like to know where they do thier parts shopping.
i got a few eelco parts, a pair of pedals, 3 different type of gauges panels, a tank with mounts, a hand pump and shut off valve, and 3 different fuel blocks, and some fuel line clamps JEFF

Here is an original Eelco sticker. It came out of the box of a progressive linkage That I found in the garage where I mowed the grass in the early 1980's. The ladies son had left it there since the 1950's, I think. Sorry I sold the linkage years ago but kept the sticker
Here's some seldom seen original boxes from the silver face gages and an old advertising poster..... .
I'm assuming everyone knows where the name EELCO comes from....E.E.Lohn Co....better known as Els Lohn.one of the founding fathers of SEMA. Willie Chambers was his shop foreman do-all handy man..Both "good poeple"

I have a rocker cover for a R-985 P&W engine that says Eelco on it. Plus a cigarette lighter with HH engraved on it. I assume it's Howard Hughes. It also is an Eelco. Lippy
Does anybody have a picture of the Eelco Hairpin Batwings they produced in the early 60's....... Or a catalog with pictures of them ?
Bought the inventory from a speed shop that closed in 1971 a couple of years ago. Full of N.O.S. Eelco stuff. Sold most of it to build a model A. Still have a few pieces for sale
