my uncle hated that ad with a passion.hell he wanted to burn down vw dealers and hated anyone who owned one. he had a stay in a german pow camp in ww2. he said it took balls to place a ad like that after only 20 so yrs after the war.i guess thats where i got my hatred for imports from.i dont even like driving by a gm or ford dealer and they also sell toyotas and hondas. to me and only me thats not much love of country or the american brand they sell.
