OKTire Guys

  1. Got a friend workin on a project coupe. Wants to run the same rears as on his rdstr. Radials/ blk wall. Size is 31-16.5-16 Not familiar with that. Any ideas on a source. Only thing he's seen are hoosier and doesn't want the sticky compound & big letters. His old tires have 'bout 12-1/2" tread thanx

  3. I ran a pair of 305/70 R16's on the back of my 79 ford pickup for awhile. They had about a foot of rubber on the ground and I believe they were made by Cooper..

    I will check with flatheadpete for you, or if you want, give him a PM. He is a tire expert ( more like savant ) at a local speed shop, and can probably answer all your questions

    They are discontinued but BF Goodrich had a LT 345/55 16. I was able to find 4 of 'em at a local tire dealer, 2 on the back of my coupe and 2 in the attic for spares. [​IMG] They are 30" tall and 13 1/2" wide.
