More please!!!! Jim's coupe is the BADDEST '34 ever built. I've lusted after that orange 3 window since I was 7 years old. I can even forgive the fact it ran a V-6 due to cooling issues...LOL

I may be mistaken, but I think the Slovers who own Pete & Jakes (the business AND the coupes) as well as Super Bell Axle now own the "Super Coupe" too.

If I remember right the body to that coupe was upside down in a patch of weeds behind some guy's house when Jim found it.

Thats me standing beside the coupe in the black and white picture. I hung around that car all weekend. I will never forget stuff like this . Had a neat little emblem on the nose too. I think I was 18 years old, now I am 47. Jesus.

  15. I remember the emblem from the OKC Nats.............and the car

  16. Yeah, the "bush pilot wings" emblem is cool. It was still on the car the last time I saw it. Frank had it at a friends hot rod cook out last summer...........

There was a thread some time ago about the emblem. It's usually at York every year. Love the car, need more pics.

FWIW Frank still owns the car in Maryland. It was on loan for a while and erroneously reported that it was sold. I talked to him today.
