Well the season is upon us and my 29 tudor is NOT done. I am sure I am not the only one who wanted to be driving by now. Unfortunatly lots of work needs to be completed.

Lets see all those unfinished projects out there in HAMB land and no excuses on this fine Saturday in May - get out to the garage and get to work!

Limey - Nice to know its sunny in dear ol' Blighty - I was suppose to be going to a car show in Hiroshima tomorrow but looks like the rainy season has come early ! Damn - I'll go to an Antique Toy Fair here in town instead and look at the "vintage tin-plate".

Yea I fell behind too, been working 60 hour weeks, but I called in sick yesterday and worked on it and I'll be working on it Today and Tomorrow. I still need to run the fuel lines, gauges, all the wiring, the windshield, and need to paint everything.

  8. My wife is working all weekend. Hopefully I can get something done in the next few days. [IMG] [IMG]

(My apologies to Samiyam who hates seeing the same old pics over and over.)

Hopefully I'll get the sedan straightened out this weekend. Been chasing vacuum leaks and trying to get the jetting right on the carbs. Normal problems...one change leads to a half a dozen others. Ain't hotrodding fun???? [IMG]

I'm almost done painting my dash and all the other assorted crap that goes with converting from 6v pos ground to 12v neg ground, hopefully it'll be ready to go in a few days... I think I might just have to duct tape the holes in the floor though. FUCK RUST!

Seeing is believing, but ran outta time before Work to get new batteries for the digi cam. I feel like I'm heading backwards, though trying to get the '57 Effie running again:
instead of getting the carb and ignition back on (because the carb's still not done), I continued paintstripping the dash and overhead, got the benchseat removed to install an extra seat belt and to take out the gas tank to flush it. Pics tomorrow. I figure now is the time to do those things at the same time.
Helped my neighbor move his dad's '50-ish Kaiser, he's getting read to fix it and I can't wait to help. [IMG] Man, I dig that car the more I see it. A shame he and his sis are trying to sell it, but he's got too much on the platter, he says.
Today was the first day with Spring semester out of the way, got 3 nice weeks ahead before Summer class starts, man it felt good to get workin' on the pickerup, again, 'specialy on such a beautiful Spring day.
Tomorrow after the Drags - if I can get the carb done, this time, tonight - I'll focus on the engine, can't wait to fire 'er up and CRUISE!! I, too, wanted to be done 'n on the road by now. But hey, there's still some cruising season left... if I hurry...
