Wait...can I change my pick to "The Surfers" front engine dragster, circa the '66 Bakersfield meet?

Or maybe the Greer/ Black/ Prudhomme car?

1959 Chevy Belair 2 dr. sed. with a 290 horse 283 fuelly, 4 speed and a posi rear end. Also I'd put chrome reverse wheels on it.:D :D :D It would have to be Crown Sapphire in color, too.

I guess I would pick a factory copper color 58 impala covertable with a 348 tri power with 3 on the tree

  17. Mario Andretti's 1965 Dean Van Lines Special...a Brawner / Ford. Idealy I'd want his 1969 Indy 500 winner...a '68 Brawner Hawk (he crashed his all-wheel drive '69 Lotus in practice that year), but you set the limit at '66.

I think any Offy or Ford powered 50's or 60's Indy roadster would be a kick-ass ride to cruise around in.

    im with ya man.
if they were out of red/white 1955 chevy rag tops id roll out the chev dealer in a nice new black 55 nomad V8 3 on the tree, id roll home cut a big ol hole in the floor & install 4 on the MF'in floor & add a set of chrome reverse (NO FREAKIN MOONS) a set of spider caps on it.

    HAHAHAHa....this post is FUNNY!

Everyone on this board shits on '60s cars....everyone on this board wants a '32 Ford.....

Then this thread comes up and what is EVERYONE saying they want????

    A 60's car of some sort. :D :D

Thats because the mid 60's were the BEST TIME IN HISTORY.

    ....oh yeah.
    My pick:

    A '64 T-BOLT of course!

After careful consideration, I change my answer to a Tucker. Coolest four door ever.

'68 Hemi Dart. Gonna build a clone eventually. It's number 6 on the list (first three are under way right now).
