Okay enough of this vacuum talk...you know what really SUCKS? Getting beat by a Mustang! Right Scott? LOL

  2. Norb, if your running static breathers, along with the pan evac ones, you have two big vacuum leaks, so the pan evac breathers are pretty much useless. 4.00 stroke small blocks make lots of windage, so I'd cap off the other two, and let the evac breathers do some evacuating.

    4" stroke 327...?
Isn't that 3.60" bore restrictive to airflow?

Nice. So if things are not going right on the strip, if you listen close you will hear Tickety Boo yelling "Mr. Wizard, Help me Mr. Wizard!" somewhere around half track.

  8. Hey Ric, are you using common core math there?:D

An .875" circle is half the diameter of a 1.750" circle - but not half the area...

a single circle of 1.237" dia has the same area of two circles of .875" dia

One 7/8" diameter opening has almost 5-1/2 times the area of one 3/8" diameter opening

But your breather system works just fine since the pressure differential is much much higher due to the pump
