I did not see a Current Thread for these 2 Events Next Month so here is one to start it off..........
This is the Big one on the West Coast.
    -Portland Oregon
    -2 Events, same basic area.
    -Portland Expo Center April 9th-11th.
    -Portland International Raceway April 8th-11th.
-Move in Day for Swap Meet Vendors is 7th for PIR and 8th for Expo.
-Hundreds of Sellers both locations, you cannot walk both events in one day!
    -See you there.

I'll be up toward the top across from the main building!

Nothing like swapping stories, meeting people and being surrounded by NOS.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm moving to the area in a couple weeks, so this sounds like a good start.

We have to make sure we get to the Expo center and the indoor stuff this year. I don't have a lot of things to hunt for at the moment though.

  12. Got 5 spaces in the lot at the expo.(out front) Look for the 30 foot white enclosed with possibly a couple of drunk grease monkeys!

Probably headed down on Friday for a two day'er. Looking for a co-pilot. Expect to find lots cool of stuff I can't afford.

  15. Cant do it in one day, that sounds like a challange :)
I will be there friday and Sat.

  16. I will again be there, have been going now for 35+ years. If you are going, and haven't been, be prepared to do a lot of walking. A lot to see.

If you can do Both in one day without running shoes you are better than I. last year was the first time i have been to PIR and that's only because we cruzed thru the expo and we weren't really looking for anything in particular

  18. Heading down Friday nite, will be there Saturday buying stuff for the Nomad !

  19. I'll be there selling, tentatively planning on taking a bunch of Early Ford Stuff: sheet metal, fenders, doors, interior parts, exterior stuff, etc... Mostly 35 - 48 Ford with some 32 -34 Ford stuff mixed in. I'll be sorting through stuff over the next few weekends. Once I get a more comprehensive list put together I'll share it with everyone.

I'll be on the track for the whole week! Bringing some extra stuff I've had for a while. Space #1300 on the track. My buddie with the "A" stuff can't come but I will have his pictures set up to advertise what he has. Stop by and say Hi. Ter409:)

OK looks like I am going to have an empty truck for my trip. Anybody need something from the Seattle / Tacoma area brought south as far as the Portland Area? Possible transportation back for deals made around Portland or at the swap that need a ride back up.

Thinking about going never been. Have some tax money for once. Question is witch location to go to first. I am looking for a flathead ford maybe a banjo rearend early ford stuff. Figured the expo center may be newer parts. Also wondering if Steves auto restorations would have a booth there. Need to pick up soom patch panels for my 34 cabriolet. Also Will all the hotels be full.

  26. Definitely worth making the trip, but remember to bring an umbrella and your rain gear.
If you go on Thursday, I like to start at the racetrack then head up to the expo center. If you go on Friday, or Saturday I like starting at the expo center then going down to the racetrack. I can't remember if Steve's has a booth, if if he doesn't his shop is only about 20 miles away from swap meet. As for hotels, anything remotely close to the swap meet will probably be full, but you can always take your chances. I've always had good luck staying near the airport, it's only about ten minutes away, and lots of hotels to choose from. Hope that helps out.
