Odd request: ID this old ashtray?

I found this rattling around in the trunk of my '39. Obviously, it's not from my car. It looks early '50's, possibly Mopar to me.

Any clues out there? I've searched and had no luck. Figured there is strength in numbers, on here..

Anyone? This one has me and my buddies stumped. I've google searched enough dashboards to make my head spin.

 

It really looks like a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan ash tray. I can't find any pictures of a close up of one but from memory it looks like a match.

 

That woud be bizarre. Only because there is a '53 Kaiser just sitting about three blocks from my son's school!

I'll have to stop and check it out, today...
