I read alot of the thread on Fremont dragstrip. Does anybody have any stories on Orange County. I always thought that tower was ahead of its time, in a good way.

I was in HS in North OC when it opened and we used to spend a lot of time there. I almost won the HS drags in 1970 driving my mom's MG Midget. The axle sheared the next week.
