I REALLY liked the colour on this car. solid colour, non metallic, no pearl but depending in the light, it was light cream, buttery cream, or very pale mint green. Love to know what it was, very cool.

You KNOW its coming, the annual Falcongeorge "survivor with a jag rearend" post. This was the high point of the show for me, late sixties small block ford T-bucket with an XF-8, I have a parts pile for a similar build from the same era. HAMBer @dragsterboy hunted down his dads old T bucket, and has restored it pretty much as how it appeared circa 1968. This thing just blew me away.
    DSCF0472resize.jpg
I was going to do mine with about a 96" wb, dragsterboy told me this was 89", and it actually looks pretty well proportioned with the small-block ford. I want a slightly longer PU box, so probably somewhere around 92"-94" should be right.
DSCF0473resize.jpg Valve covers, header caps, and maybe aircleaners (maybe dragsterboy can clarify on this) were cast from molds made by a local hot rodder in the sixties, same ones were originally on this car when it was built but the originals were lost in following updates, they re-cast them from the original molds for the resto. Man, I gotta get me some of these...Right Chip??;):)

I think this is Hemideuces friend Dave. I was over at this guys place, blown early hemis all over the place, cross ram IR weber intakes for Chevys, zetec powered midget with hilborns from a 2300 pinto adapted to the zetec, ect. So I go in the downstairs bathroom to take a leak, and I get this funny feeling like I am not alone, I turn around, theres another blown chrysler in the downstairs bathroom...Guess he ran out of room for them in the shop...

For the most part, I try to avoid re-posts of cars I have posted in previous years, but a lot of guys went nuts for this car last time

Usually, a chute on a street car is totally pretentious...
    DSCF0509resize.jpg
Its no pretense when your "street car" runs over 150 MPH in the 1/4. I have watched this car race, drive on the street, and evolve for about 3 decades, pretty sure its been doing it longer than that. Real deal here.
    DSCF0506resize.jpg
Yea, I know the REAL HAMBer tough guys will tell you this is a lady boy poser car, automatic and a 4 bar. Uh yea...:p

I can't imagine wrastling an iron early Hemi downstairs . I had one floating around my garage for a long time, sweet mother of God, thinking of getting one down a staircase makes my nuts hurt. That black full-fendered T starting off this post is unreal. I'm in love. I started reading this on my shoe phone, and I've learned not to trust teeny pics. Now that I'm on the desktop, oh my!! Pretty sure I've added another one to my mental "must build" list. Stunning.

I think this '54 Ford radical custom was built in those dark years of the eighties.

Hamber Chopped51's Model A. I REALLY like the colour combination on this car and the interior, especially now I have seen it in person. The cream and rootbeer really pops, and we need more buckets in hot rods. Cool. DSCF0552resize.jpg

Late fifties Vancouver Island survivor. Good thing this one didn't get made into a "traditional" hot rod. Glad theres still a FEW channeled cars left to remind us how it REALLY was;)

Finally met Deuce Dreamer face to face. Nice family. His daughter actually came out to a car show, mine wouldn't get out of bed...:D
