    Not sure if I already posted (not in the mood to check 29 pages). Mostly a stay at home dad for the last two years, but also do freelance art, murals, signwork, welding, gardening, etc. Also finishing rehabbing my house so I can sell it.

    Worked on cars all my life as a mechanic/shop owner/bodyman/painter/parts pusher....then one day said fuck it after 35 years. Now I rig boat trailers when I'm not fuckin off doing something else. Also I'm a part time asshole.:rolleyes:

    Okay,

    machinist apprenticship. grauated top of the classs arg (20 odd years ago...). Now I'm managing a wind tunnel model shop for a local, yet large aerospace company. I build model airplanes for a living. If you think you you have have a better job, I'd love to hear about it.....

    Work in the Aircraft Maintenance Business, working at an Airline currently in Bankruptcy. started as an Engineer and moved into managing Aircraft Maintenance Programs for other operators.

    Program Manager overseeing Maintenance Contracts for several Military aircraft like the C-17 (transport aircraft), C-32, basically a 757 (for vice pres of USA, First lady and very high ranking Govt officials.) plus the C-40, basically a 737 (for Govt officials and other DV).

    I travel way to much.

    Lots of skill and talent on this board.


    To some I am just a bodyman but to me it is the best thing in the world. I work for a local dealer by day then at night I build rods and restore. I love the night job better and am working hard to make it my day job.
    Any hambers in Dallas FT Worth area that needs help on thier baby I will be more than glad to help.

    Ok, I'll pile on and keep the thread alive.

    Since I graduated from the university, I've worked at Jeep Engineering.
    Was fun in the beginning (mid 90's), even got to beat / break the stuff I engineered.
    Now its mostly paperwork, and the latest rah rah acronym program.

    ....and a HAMB lurker.

    an engineering manager for one of the top 3 internets companys out there.
    its internets all day long. used to be creative manager, but im not as creative as i used to be i suppose.

    college dropout previous to that.

    I work at a Scrap yard up here.I work the scales weighing up copper,brass and what ever else comes in.Lots of cars come in in the summer time .Its hard to watch.I did save a 1941 Plymouth from death by crusher. I try to save trim hub caps and this and thats if I can.

    and am frankly getting tired of it
    old body dont crawl and jump up and down withjout pain
    but got to keep moving:eek:
    and do some shows, did 44 last year
    going tomorrow, hope the bad weather passes and i get out and down the interstate safely

    my usuall set up guy had a mom birthday and is doing that

    so I have to take the wife with:confused:this is gonna be interesting

    Construction Estimator for Casey's General Stores. It's a convenience store chain that also known for their pizza and made to order subs(think subway). It is crazy busy in the construction department and I'm the only estimator so I keep pretty busy.

    Flat rate auto machanic 1977 tell now and still at it keep thinging I should be doing something else but not sure what it whould be I still enjoy it.

    I was a GM Master tech.. Got real tired of the flat rate rat race! When my dealership closed down, I was offered a position at one of my customers manufacturing facilities! I am now an Industrial tech and machinist!!! I get to travel to Mexico, Arizona and other facilities to support in various machine repairs. Everything is proprietary, so I get to make the parts too!! Best thing I could have EVER done! I love my job and actually look forward to my workday!

    I was a certified ford motor company diesel technician , now I work in a dust collection fabrication shop. i do cnc programming, auto cad drawings and high def plasma cutting, I also run the shipping department at my place of work
